Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountain – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – City of Rose – Dades Valley

We meet you up at your accommodation in Marrakech, and head to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah through the high atlas mountains. Here you pause to enjoy the mountain views, and appreciate the beauty of Berber villages. Afterwards, you make a visit to the Kasbah (Castle) of Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in the country. It is also listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987.

The Kasbah is the spot for many movies, including Gladiator, Sheltering Sky, Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones. After lunch, you resume best 5 days – Marrakech to Merouga to your destination passing through the city of Ouarzazate, Skoura Valley, City of roses. Finally, you get Dades Valley, where our team will drop you off for the nighttime.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga(Camel ride and spend the night in the camp)

Transfer from Boumalne Dedes to Merzouga through the Todra Gorge. The gorge is where the 1312 ft cliffs are standing. 5 day – Marrakech to Merzouga offers you a hike and walk along the canyons before you will off to Merzouga. In addition to that, you shall pass via several small villages, and you get a chance to interact with locals, and learn about their culture.

When you arrive Merzouga, you will find your camels are already prepared for another journey that goes via the largest sand desert of Merzouga. The ride lasts for 1h, an hour of charming views of the sand dunes, hilarious sandboarding and observing the sunset.

On arrival to the camp, welcome tea will be served by camp’s staff before they show you your luxurious tents. The tents are equipped with private shower, private restroom, mattresses, comfortable beds, pillows, electricity, hot water and heater. Next, you can ask for dinner whenever you want as the party around the bonfire will be starting directly after dinner. You will have fun playing drums, dance under the starlight, and sand dunes surrounding you. You spend the night in your luxury camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Tour

It is recommended to be awake early to watch one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world. After observing the sun rising, you will have breakfast and then you start your desert tour. You explore all of nomads lifestyle, a mine of mascara, a small villages of Berber. Firstly,you meet and visit the nomads of Erg Chebbi, and get to know about their life and have a cup of tea with them.

Secondly, you discover an ancient mine of mascara, and have a beautiful view of the sand dunes of Merzouga. Thirdly, we head to a small village of black-skinned people, those who have their own tradition and culture. Furthermore, They are renowned for their Gnawa music that is playing with passion to make their customers happy and live the moment.

In addition to that, you make visit to a garden of the farmers who use an irrigation system to irrigate their farms. In the evening, the fabulous 5 days – Morocco to Merzouga provide you an opportunity to have a quad bike ride among the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Finally, you will off to your accommodation for the overnight “CAMP or HOTEL”.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Ouarzazate.

You shall make your way to Ouarzazate through the city of Rissani. Here you have a walk in one of the famous traditional markets in Morocco. Moreover, you resume your fantastic 5 days – Marrakech to Merzouga by a plenty of small towns, and cross the anti-atlas mountains. In addition to that, you have a drive along Daraa Valley, and have a break for beautiful panoramic views. Next, you get Ouarzazate where our team drops you off at your accommodation for the overnight.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Kasbah of Talouat – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakech.

Transfer from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via visiting the Kasbah of Talouat. The kasbah is used to be home to Glaoui Thami family. Next, your wonderful 5 days – Morocco to Merzouga goes through the high atlas mountains. Finally, you arrive Marrakech at the early evening, and your driver/guide shall make sure to drop you off at your lodging. Unforgetable 5 days – Morocco to Merzouga ends.
