Tour Itinarery of 8 Day Desert Tour In Morocco

Day 1: Fes Airport Pick Up

Our team will be waiting for you at the Airport in Fes. Once you meet them, you start your traveling of 8 days from there to the center of Fes. However, you must be exhausted after a journey from your country, so you head straight to your hotel/riad.

Day 2: Fes Sightseeings

You will have a city guided tour. First of all, you meet a local guide at the lobby of your accommodation and start exploring the city.  The Medina of Fes is the oldest in the kingdom, it is built in 8^th century by Idriss First. Here are the best sites you need to discover while you are in Fes;

* Palais Royal Dar El Makhzen: it dates back to 13th century during the Marinid dynasty. However, it is still used by the current king Mohammed Sixth when he is in Fes. Moreover, the Royal palace has five golden doors.

* Bou Inania Madrasa: it built in 1350 CE by Abu Inan Faris and it is the most important religious institutions of Fes and Morocco. Furthermore, it functions as a congregational mosque.

* Mellah: the Jewish community in Fes, and it dates back to the mid-15th century.

* Fondouk: it is Nejjarine Square. The building originally used as a trading center and merchant warehouse. However, the palace turns to become a private museum for wood arts and crafts nowadays.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga(Camel ride and spend the night in the camp)

Day 4: Merzouga Sightseeings (Erg Chebbi Tour)

It is recommended to be awake early to watch one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world. After observing the sun rising, you will have breakfast and then you start your desert tour. You explore all of nomads lifestyle, a mine of mascara, a small villages of Berber. Firstly,you meet and visit the nomads of Erg Chebbi, and get to know about their life and have a cup of tea with them.

Secondly, you discover an ancient mine of mascara, and have a beautiful view of the sand dunes of Merzouga. Thirdly, we head to a small village of black-skinned people, those who have their own tradition and culture. Furthermore, They are renowned for their Gnawa music that is playing with passion to make their customers happy and live the moment.

In addition to that, you make a visit to a garden of the farmers who use an irrigation system to irrigate their farms. Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Touroug – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

After breakfast, your travel takes you away from the desert, and discover new places. You have a break in Rissani, where the market takes place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Afterwards, you continue your wonderful 8 days tour to Todra Gorge, where 312 meters cliffs are standing. Here you have a walk along the canyons, and enjoy the nature of the area. After lunch, you head to Dades Valley, where our team will drop you off for the nightime. 

Day 6: Dades Gorge – Dades Valley – Nomadic shelter – City of Rose – Ouarzazate

Transfer to Ouarzazate through Dades Gorge where a part of the mountains formed as the monkey fingers, and winding road. Moreover, you get a chance to interact with some nomads, and get to know about their lifestyle. Some nomads families still live in the caves in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Later on, you continue your journey to the city of roses, where the festival of rose takes place every year in May. On arrival to the city of Ouarzazate, you will have an option to visit the biggest studio of cinema. Besides, you explore the Kasbah of Taourirt that dates back to the 19^th century. At the end, our team will drop off at your accommodation for the overnight.  

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakech

After breakfast, you will make your way to the Kasbah (Castle) of Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. The Kasbah is renowned as a backdrop for many movies, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Here you have enough time exploring the kasbah before you continue your traveling to Marrakech. However, you will have lunch somewhere in the high atlas mountains on your way to Marrakech. Furthermore, the road offers some stunning mountain views, and terrific Berber villages along the slopes of Tizi N’tichka. Finally, you arrive Marrakech in the early evening, and chech in to your hotel/riad.

Day 8: Transfer to the Airport
